I have much pleasure to announce the launch of the Department's "e-Learning Centre". This is a new initiative to further promote a self-learning culture in the Department. Information technology not only brings convenience to our daily living, but also changes the delivery mode of staff training and development activities. Through the Internet, colleagues can get connected to the "e-Learning Centre" and enjoy the flexibility of learning whatever they want, whenever they wish and wherever they are. The web-based training courses in the "e-Learning Centre" have adopted some well-developed and popular classroom training programmes run by the Staff Development and Training Section with proven effectiveness. The quality of the web-based training courses is as good as conventional classroom training. The Department will continue to develop different web-based training courses to provide colleagues with more choices. We welcome users feedback and suggestions.
